Pete let me know that he was a typographer and if I ever needed some old looking handmade signs made to keep him in mind. Well be careful what you wish for! I designed the interiors for 16 <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">condos</span> for Grand Lodges at Lake Collins resort and engaged Pete to make signs for the units. He did an outstanding job and gave some old world charm to the units. Below is a little bit about Pete in his own words.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> "Media design, art direction and deadlines have been my career for nearly 30 years now. Typography has always been at the heart of my love for graphic design. I am also an avid woodworker. This new venture weaves my passions into an outlet that has me madly creating interior sign products intended for home, urban living and business decor. Less stress and the smell of fresh sawdust — I can’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing. However, this year I thought it would be fun to have a date with my husband, and dream about what it might be like to live the ultimate urban lifestyle.The penthouse named <a href="http://www.streetofdreamspdx.com/homes/encore-on-the-park/building.php">"An Uncommon Life"</a> was the condo that captured my imagination. Touring the space I encountered several magical moments. What an absolute pleasure to see design with a unique vision. <a href="http://www.kimberleejaynes.com/">Kimberlee Jaynes</a>, along with design associate <a href="http://www.madisonmillinger.com/news/">Richard Rolfe</a> brought warmth, patina and wit to a cool modern space. The color, texture and old finds mix beautifully with the steel framed view...restful, but with a reminder not to linger too long, the city is waiting below. Working on this project for the Encore on the Park Unit 1603 for the last two and half months has been a pleasure! It was <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">sooo</span></span> much fun to be my own client and create whatever could be dreamed up! I hope that some of the photos above will whet your <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">appetite</span> and make you want to go. The terrace is amazing! The views are <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">incredible</span> and seating arrangements are surprising and unpredictable.
