The most frequently asked question is "Where do you start?" It seems logical to me but I guess it is from so many years of designing that it comes naturally, I start with the art or an area rug and pull all of the colors from those pieces. It is so easy, all the guess work is taken out, you don't have to "think" about what colors to paint or upholster your furniture when the art or area rug shouts the direction.
